Dr. Mureriwa is a clinical psychologist in private practice at the Louis Pasteur Private Hospital in Pretoria, South Africa. Prior to full time private practice, Dr. Mureriwa worked as a lecturer/ senior lecturer at the Universities of Zimbabwe, Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (formerly MEDUNSA), and UNISA. As a psychologist, Dr. Mureriwa is exclusively focussed on applied psychophysiology, which is also known as biological psychology. The special fields of application are neuropsychology, psychopharmacology, and Quantitative EEG. Dr. Mureriwa is a former president of the South African Clinical Neuropsychological Association (SACNA) and current president of the Pharmacological Association for South African Clinical Psychologists (PASACP). He has participated as a medico-legal expert for more than 20 years, and pioneered the application of Quantitative EEG to the Road Accident Fund (RAF) assessments.
